For a long time, this was the most esteemed bike race on the planet, and it remains genuinely the most hazardous race on the planet. By 1910, there were eight models of Norton bikes, two with Norton-constructed motors. JL Norton was apparently a preferable designer however over a business director, and by 1913 his organization was very nearly bankrupt.
Luckily, it was saved by one of its lenders, framing Norton Motors Limited, which got an administration agreement to supply the Russian armed force with motors during the First World War. The popular vintage Norton motorcycle parts and logo showed up around this time. In 1907, a Norton won the main International Isle of Man Tourist Trophy Race.
